UPDATE: Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer held a news conference on Tuesday to provide updates on Monday night's shooting on Winery Ave. Chief Dyer said several 911 calls came in at 7:43 p. m. about shots being fired. One of the 911 callers said her 5-year-old boy was sitting in the back seat of her car when he was hit by gunfire. The mother said she was driving him to the hospital. Chief Dyer said patrol units went to the crime scene and to meet the mother at the hospital.
